Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce SHINeeEE

Onew, Jonghyun, Key, Minho, Taemin

Hi, today I'm going to talk about my favorite music group, this is SHINee.

Although they're very important to me, I usually hide this part of my tastes since being a group from Korea, people inmediately relate it to the full kpop, and in my opinion, they're very different from them. So SHINee is the only korean group that I like.

Anyway, they are five members, one of them, Jonghyun, passed away on December 18, 2017. SHINee was introduced as a contemporary R&B boy group by their company with the goal of being trendsetters in all areas of music, fashion, dance, etc.  and debuted 11 years ago, but I met them 8 years ago, because a friend showed them to me.

SHINee stand out because of the originality of their creations and outlandish outfits. Their music is very varied because in each comeback they try new mixtures of music styles, without losing their color completely.  It's known for their experimental sound, incorporating various genres including R&B, edm, funk, rock, hip hop, electropop, jpop and kpop. And to date they fave more than 300 songs, of which I don't have a favorite only one, but stand out Our page (dedicated to Jonghyun), Hold You, Evil, Nightmare, Symptoms, etc. 

And as people, I like them because despite being in a country that cost free expression and markedly machismo, they have spoken on taboo issues within their industry such as feminism, LGBT community, social injustice and government, which has also brought them problems. In addition, in recent years, one of its members, Taemin, has spoken openly obout being a fluent genre and aims to break down gender barriers in the kpop industry.

I saw them live for first time in 2014 when they came on their fourth concert tour. Then in 2018, when Taemin came to a kpop festival, in wich I didn't have such a good time as I didn't know other groups that performed lol, and then in the summer of this year when Taemin and Key (what a name lmao), came to another festival. 

Currently three of them are performing their mandatory military service. So, they will return as a full group just the year 2022:(.
